About Me

Hi! And welcome! Congratulations on taking the courageous first step toward improving your life by reaching out and sharing information about yourself! I understand counseling as a journey where I meet you where YOU ARE AT (mentally and emotionally) and then have the privilege of traveling with you on your journey of self-discovery. I use my skills to assist on the rocky patches in the road, and am ALWAYS encouraging, confirming, and celebrating YOUR SUCCESS. I create a space for you that is confidential, accepting, and non-judgmental.

I have a Ph. D. in Mental Health Counseling and am currently a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. I also have a sub-specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have over 20 years of counseling experience, working in private and non-profit organizations, helping children, teens, and adults of all ages. The counseling modalities I use are Adlerian, Solution Focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioral techniques, and a traumagenic approach. Issues for which I have provided therapy include: childhood abuse; alcohol abuse; codependency; grief and loss; adult ADD; negotiating stressful life transitions, dealing with verbal aggression; conflict resolution; decision making; effective parenting skills; stressful family environments; and developing effective and lasting communication skills. I have also helped some of my clients resolve depression and anxiety which often are associated with the aforementioned issues.

My availability is currently Monday through Thursday with 3 sessions on l Fridays. All appointments are after 12:00pm.
Sometimes my schedule will vary if I have personal matter that I have to take care of.

Dr. Gipple has helped me a lot since day one. I have had therapy in the past but was not very successful, and this time I needed someone that would make connections between my thoughts now, my past experiences and causes/reasons, etc. And at the same time, that would give me “homework” or teach me how to be/act better in specific situations. She actually made me realize something really important on day one, and after that, she has been amazing. She has a lot of experience, and she asks the right questions to get to the key matters. She always answers my messages in a timely manner and I can’t be happier. I know that she’s there for me.
Healing and growing takes time, the magic does not always happen at the beginning of therapy, but I’m making progress quickly because she is helping a lot.

Dr. Gipple is an angel from God. She listens and supports and feels the pain I’m going through and she lends me confidence in the moments I can’t find it myself. The things I’m going through are really tough to sort out in my mind and she is very patient, yet strong, and helps me feel confident in standing up for myself. She is the real deal.

I have had therapists and the past, and while they weren’t necessarily bad, Dr. Gipple has helped me through my issues and helped me realize the most about myself, if I didn’t have her as a therapist at this time and life I’m not sure what I would have done. She listens to your concerns and is very understanding and gives great feedback and support.
