Hello. My name is Stacey Anne Charles-Polycarpe. I am a bilingual (English/Creole) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida. I have over 7 years of counseling experience working with a diverse population with a variety of concerns, such as depression, anxiety, grief and loss, ADHD, bullying, academic concerns, parenting issues, and relationship issues. Moreover, I have supported and assisted those who have experienced emotional and/or physical trauma.
My approach to therapy is with compassion and acceptance. My treatment approach combines, cognitive behavioral, solution- focused, humanistic, and psychodynamic therapy. However, I am open to adapt to the needs of each unique individual during treatment. I have extensive experience working with at risk youth, social services, foster care, and homelessness. I have training in Trauma-focused CBT, motivational interviewing, and play therapy with a certification in Infant Mental Health-Attachment Therapy.
I truly believe individuals have a desire to be their best self; however, life and its many challenges may have you feeling overwhelmed, stressed, and stuck. While incorporating compassion and acceptance in therapy, a person’s guards and self- defensives begin to decrease; therefore, true healing and introspective work can begin. Congratulations, on taking the biggest step toward your wellness journey, please allow me to support you on your route.
Look forward to working with you.

StaceyAnne is amazing. She truly listens to me and guides me with compassion. I’m very grateful for her
Stacey has been so amazing to work with. Her ability to challenge and provide compassion at the same time is what I needed for what I have been going through
She is absolutely amazing. She makes it really easy and comfortable to speak freely and has a lot of patience. I would always work with her again
Just in 2 sessions she has been able to help. She's very responsive in texts, and what I write in my journal
I definitely am super scatterbrained and I think she keeps up with my craziness very well. In a short period of time talking to her she has helped me maintain better control of my moods
She’s professional and personable! I’ve only had one session but so far so good!
Stacey has helped more than any other therapist I’ve ever had. She has changed the way I think and feel about myself, I’m so glad I found her!
Very understanding and helpful
Stacey was a remarkable therapist to me, and I highly recommend her to anyone who is serious about doing the work to help themselves. I only left this platform and Stacey because my circumstances changed. Otherwise, I would have kept going with Stacey.
Stacey is such a great therapist. Working with her is as natural as talking with a friend, and all the while she’s helping you get to the root of your challenges, offering you tools to work with on your journey and a sharing a fresh perspective—which is like salve for your wounds and fuel to help you carry on.
I am so very thankful for her.
Stacey has been very good at helping me understand more about myself and how to apply that knowledge to improve my life. I am very happy I was matched up with her.
Definitely recommend! She helped me at my lowest and was consistent on checking up on me, accomodating hours based on my schedule and gave me the space to speak, listen and understand!
I’ve only had one session with Stacey but I’ve seen a few different therapists throughout my life and she is the first that I felt comfortable with right off the bat for me that was a big deal, I’m always told I am a social butterfly who can get along with everyone but when it comes to therapy and talking about things that are very intimate and hard to talk about it’s hard to find someone who you feel comfortable with I feel very blessed I found Stacey and look forward to this journey of healing.
Stacey is a great listener and amazing at what she does. After starting off with a terrible match I am so glad I found her. After only a month and a half of therapy with her I feel much lighter. She is really personable which makes it really easy to open up to her. Not only that, but she tells you what you need to hear while also being a great listener!
Stacey is absolutely amazing at her job! I truly can’t express this enough. In the short time of a month that we’ve been working together she was able to dig to the roots of my issues and help me pull out the weeds. She is patient, kind, and knows how to make me smile whether it’s from a witty comment or from changing my life for the better. I was assigned another therapist before her that wasn’t a match, and I can’t express how grateful I am for being guided to Stacey’s aid. My only wish is that I had found her voice years ago. 10/5 yelp review for sure!
In just a few sessions, StaceyAnne has honed in on my problems, and discusses them in a way that is insightful and understanding, and helps me to see problems and solutions without outright telling me. She asks the right questions to guide me in the right direction.
One important thing, that I really love. Stacey doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear or avoid uncomfortable questions. She’s terrific.
Stacey is an amazing listener and she gives advice in a way that shows that she understands you and she wants the absolute best for you.
